Zymira Harris
Hey! My name is Zymira Harris and I’m so excited to be a mentor for EOP’s Summer Bridge Program! I am from Bellflower, California (Los Angeles County), and am embarking on my 4th year here at SDSU. I’m majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with disciplines in Biology, Public Health, and Child and Family Development, with hopes to one day become a pediatric physician assistant. My experience at SDSU has been really positive, and I believe that it has only gotten better by getting involved on campus! This year alone my involvements include being a Summer Bridge Mentor, an EOP SOAR Mentor for the second year in a row, the President of the Child and Family Development Student Organization, and a member of SDSU’s Rotaract Organization. As a mentor, I hope to make a positive impact in students’ lives by connecting them with resources, keeping them up to date with events on campus, and most importantly being someone they can talk to and lean on. With focus, persistence, hard work, and of course a little fun once in a while, I’ve been able to make the most of my college experience, and I cannot wait to help guide students’ throughout theirs!
