Hi everyone! My name is Ralph Blanchard and I’m a TFM major, currently in my 3rd year as a graduate student in the MFA program. I was born in Sacramento, California and moved here from LA 2 years ago to continue my studies after having worked primarily in Reality TV since 2012. I am mixed race, white and Latino, and thanks to my Costa Rican mother, I can speak Spanish fairly well. I have a passion for writing and directing short form media and studying film. My girlfriend Carly and I love to travel and eat new foods whenever we can. Our last trip was to Oaxaca, Mexico for the Oaxaca Film Festival where my short film Her Face, screened for an audience. This is my second year as a tutor with EOP Summer Bridge, a program I am honored to be a part of. Film is more than just entertainment; it is an art form, and I can’t wait to explore it with you!
