EOP Summer Bridge 

Hello everyone and welcome to Summer Bridge, I hope that we all make the best out of the current situation and I am looking forward to meeting you all. That being said I wanted to let you all know a little bit about myself. My name is Fabiola but everyone calls me “Fabby” or “Fabs”, I answer to both and have no preference. I am a fourth year Interdisciplinary Studies Major with emphasis in Psychology, Social Work, and Counseling and Social Change Majors. I am from Long Beach, California and I love to listen to music, read, or explore new things including food, pretty views, or anything else that sounds interesting. I also enjoy ceramics, painting, organizing, or any other form of self care. My leadership roles include current President for Lambda Sigma Gamma Multicultural Sorority, active member for SISSTER (Sororities Invested in Survivor Support Training and Ending Rape Culture), and Front Desk Receptionist for the College of Sciences Student Success Center. Lastly, I wanted to end of with my why to becoming a Summer Bridge Peer Mentor, I have struggled a lot through college to get to where I am at right now and I want to be there for incoming freshman the way I wish someone would have been there for me especially because the Class of 2020 has been through a lot already and I want to emphasize that even if you just need someone to talk to feel free to reach out to your mentor, we are here for you all and to help you all succeed.
